School Days

So here we are. I have finally decided to get a blog up and running. Thus far there are no bells and whistles so I will get to that in the future. I am not really sure what to write about so I'll just let you know what's been going on with my life in college this semester and touch a bit on what the past few have been for me in my journey to bettering my life and eventually having a career I can be satisfied in. I am currently a communication major with an emphasis on broadcast journalism. This is the third time that I have changed majors in my short one year career as a WSU student and I'm hoping this one sticks, or at any rate that if it doesn't there is something very similar out there to make the transition a bit more smooth. I am not really all too sure what all Broadcast Journalism is going to entail yet but I understand that it will involve photography, videography, writing, and a little bit of electronic media (podcasts, internet radio, etc.) my adviser told me it sounded most like what I was looking for so here's hoping she's right. The problem is that I decided on this about 2 days into classes this semester which means I already missed a week of work for one of the classes because of a time conflict and have a bit of catching up to do there and am currently a little overwhelmed. At any rate I thnk it will be a better fit for me these days than Management Information Systems or Computer Science. So there you have it. First post completed. I promise to be at least a little more exciting in future additions and possibly cover a fun game I'm playing or how much I love the Windows 7 beta. We shall see.
